The Autism Project
When personal experience
gradually builds an entire story.

Autism is not just a diagnosis. It is the everyday reality of families who often have to rely on themselves. Our personal experience with a child on the autism spectrum gradually shaped our path – from searching for answers in nutrition, through the creation of the BioAid Bistro and the Autism Project, to a place where movement, relationship, and quality time together naturally connect. And we continue in this direction.

When personal experience sets the direction

Life with a child on the autism spectrum taught us to see the world differently. We did not look for shortcuts or universal solutions, but tried to understand the connections – between body, mind, environment, and daily habits. Gradually, it became clear that diet, movement, and the way we function together as a family play a crucial role.
From this need, the BioAid Bistro was first created. A place where it was confirmed that health truly begins with food and that a change in lifestyle can have a deeper impact than it seems at first glance.

From diet to deeper connections

Experiences from daily practice naturally led us to further steps. The Autism Project was created – a space focused on sharing experiences, supporting families, and finding functional solutions where the system often fails.
The project is based on the reality of life with autism, not on theory from a desk. It responds to the needs of families struggling with a shortage of specialists, long waiting times, and minimal support in the field of therapies.

A place with a concrete form

The Autism Project is not an abstract idea. It has its foundation and practical dimension. It serves as:

  • a space for the presentation and development of the Autism Project
  • a place where you can find products and supplements suitable for an autism-friendly diet
  • a health food store for local clients and people who live consciously and “bio”
  • a specialized place for products that are not normally easily accessible

Did you know that…

Autism today affects the lives of an increasingly large number of people:

  • approximately 100,000 people with autism spectrum disorder live in the Czech Republic
  • since 2000, the global prevalence of autism has increased by more than 150%
  • the environment we live in is significantly more toxic than it was decades ago
  • industrially processed foods have lower nutritional value
  • parents are exposed to higher levels of stress and start families at a later age

These factors are interconnected and cannot be separated.

What families with autism often face

The path of diagnosis and subsequent care is often challenging:

  • examination by a psychiatrist and psychologist
  • assessment in specialized state facilities
  • attempts to place in special classes or schools
  • minimal financial support for therapies
  • shortage of professional capacity and long waiting times

Many parents find themselves in a situation where they have to help themselves primarily.

Daily work instead of waiting for the system

The state did not help us. Neither did the system. What helped was persistence, daily work, and willingness to find new paths. The Autism Project was created out of a need to give these experiences meaning and to offer support to other families who are at a similar starting point.

How targeted approach can help

We understand help as a long-term process, not a one-time solution. We focus on:

  • collecting data for individualized support
  • strengthening immunity and managing inflammation through diet
  • supplementing key vitamins and minerals
  • gentle detoxification of the body
  • working with autism protocol
  • supporting and restoring gut microbiota

Autism has many forms

Autism spectrum disorder can manifest in different ways:

  • difficulties with eye contact
  • increased sensitivity to noise, light, and other stimuli
  • difficulties with communication and conversation
  • slower response to verbal instructions
  • problems with listening
  • but also exceptional memory and ability to work with details, facts, and numbers

A journey that continues

Experiences from nutrition and body support naturally led to another area – movement and the relationship between child and parent. This is where the individual parts of the entire story begin to come together. Movement, trust, closeness, and quality time together become another piece of the same puzzle.

Our journey does not end. Quite the opposite. Everything that came before now connects and takes on deeper meaning.

Every story is unique
